WORTWELL SILVER FESTIVAL

This year is the 25th anniversary since the Community Centre was opened  and, to celebrate, ‘Wortwell Silver Festival’ is being held on Saturday 16 September.  The event aims to celebrate all that Wortwell and the surrounding area has to offer.  The festival will start at Midday and include exhibitions, demonstrations, craft stalls, traditional games, competitions and  food & drink and finish with a Ceilidh in the evening. More details to follow.

We will be holding an ‘Auction of Promises’ and are looking for donations from villagers and local people of time, skills or special treats e.g. gardening, car washing, home baking, music lesson etc from villagers.  We would also like to hear from local businesses and tradespeople as we will advertise your business in the promotional flyer for the festival in exchange for a donation to the auction in lieu of a charge.  Please contact Allison on 01986 788116 with your donations!
